A fine day for a walk

Saturday was an excellent day for an uphill walk. This is lunch at View Rock on the Colbert's Ridge trail.

Milan subway, early evening

This is from my trip shooting interviews with Holocaust survivors in Italy. We spent a lot of time going all over the city with camera, tripod, mics, etc. to meet people in their apartments. The subway was unusually crowded in this shot.

Robin and Tammy on the road

This was supposed to be a blog of Celo photos, but Jeff and I have both been out of town recently, so, what the hell. Here are a few pictures from the trip Tammy and I took to Miami for the photo education conference (we were representing Penland). Maybe Jeff will post a few from his Italy trip.

This is what it appears to be: a vending machine selling iPods and accessories. Tammy spotted it at the Atlanta airport.

While riding the bus out to South Beach, Tammy commented that the cruise ships looked like skyscrapers on their sides (I couldn't help saying, "sidescrapers"). Then, while we were walking on the beach, we saw this.

Biodynamic Pirates

You gotta love those biodynamic pirate farmers. If you don't pay for your farm share on time, they'll hack you to bits and put you in the compost pile--but only during the waxing moon.

Firewoodcam

This Micaville installation is the only surveillance camera I've ever seen on a woodlot. Don't forget to smile.
