So, the mighty cicada thing is almost over. Here's one laying eggs in a tree limb (that's not a seventh leg back there). It kills the branch, but they mostly seem to lay in big trees, so it's relatively little damage.

The big windstorm in May took out the large oak at the end of the Pred Path. The lightbooth survived with crippling injuries.
