Sunday, 11:00 AM--A Moment in Time

The New York Times website is working on a cool project. They asked anyone anywhere in the world to take a photograph on Sunday, May 2 at 15:00 Universal Time (that's 11:00 AM in Celo) and upload it to their website. They are working on some amazing map-based interface that will let you look at all the pictures. It was supposed to be done in a few days, but they were overwhelmed with 13,000 uploads, so it's not finished yet. I'll post a note when it's available.

Meanwhile, here are the pictures that Margot Atuk, Jeff Goodman, and I submitted along with our captions.

"I like old doors because they are a link to the past. This is a salvaged door on our barn at 11am. Who knows who walked through it before." Margot

"At 11:00 AM on Sunday I was in my darkroom making old-school black and white photographs." Robin

"My rooster was reluctant to participate in the 11am photo shoot. He is a good boy, though, and has fathered many chicks." Jeff

If y'all had a like button, I'd click it. (Oh wait, I can just WRITE that? with real words? Well, okay then: I like everything about this.) xoxo

Nice darkroom set up. We've been trying to unload ours for years. It's amazing how 3 grand can become worthless thanks to technology.
